1. Agreement to terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AgentGate (the "Service"), operated as AgentGate ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. What AgentGate does

AgentGate is an approval-queue service: it lets AI agents request human approval, via Slack or Microsoft Teams, before taking a specified action, and records the resulting decision and an audit trail. You are solely responsible for how you configure and use the Service, including which actions you gate and who you grant approval authority to.

3. Accounts

You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API key and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@useagentgate.com if you suspect your API key has been compromised — you can also regenerate it yourself at any time from Settings.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another organization's data or another organization's approval requests
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Reverse engineer the Service beyond what's permitted by the open portions of the codebase

5. Plans, fees & payment

The Free plan is available at no cost, subject to the usage limits described on our pricing page. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance.

Payments are processed by our payment provider, Paddle.com Market Limited, which acts as the Merchant of Record for all purchases made through AgentGate. Paddle handles billing, receipts, and payment method storage — AgentGate never receives or stores your card details. Your purchase is subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms in addition to these Terms.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time from Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep Pro access until then, and won't be charged again afterward. See our Refund Policy for details on refunds.

7. Data & your content

You retain all rights to the data you send through the Service — approval requests, context payloads, audit records. We process it solely to provide the Service to you. See our Privacy Policy for details on what we collect and how it's handled.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. AgentGate is a tool that routes decisions to a human — it does not evaluate whether any given action is actually safe or advisable. Responsibility for what your agents do, and for who you grant approval authority to, remains entirely yours.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AgentGate will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing law
